Energetic Work

There is a way between voice and presence
where information flows.

In disciplined silence it opens.
With wandering talk it closes.

Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi

What is pranic distance work?
Pranic work goes by many different names depending upon the tradition. In China, for example, work is practiced by Qi Gong Masters. Christian tradition refers to practitioners as Adepts. Western anthropologists might label a First-Nation practitioner a Shaman. In each instance, where there is a clear contractual relationship, pranic work is accomplished where time and space are not barriers. Whatever your religious or philosophical background, pranic work is one means by which you may experience personal change.

Who benefits from pranic distance work?
The shortest answer is persons desiring a shift or change in their lives.

Personal-practice clients observe a regular personal practice such as yoga, meditation, devotional prayer, tai chi, qi gong or one of the arts.

Cross-roads clients seek a clearer perspective in their lives. They may also be working with a personal coach in an effort to establish, re-order and/or articulate life priorities.

Life-purpose clients are making a transition in vocation or re-establishing the purposefulness in their current line of work.

Relationship-connection clients are doing advanced work, restructuring the connections of relationship in their lives. These appointments are only available after one or two initial sessions have been completed.

How is pranic work accomplished?
Different schools describe the process using their own vocabularies. Through meditation and with your consent, I am able to connect with you in order to accomplish the work requested. Metophorically, it is like modern satellite communications.

What do clients report?

Physically, clients most often experience sensations of heat, tingling or stillness. Some report seeing color at the brow, inside of the forehead. Afterward, most clients report feeling especially clear headed with an ability to see themselves and their contexts in a new light.

What does the practitioner see?
When practicing, I generally see things in terms of color and vibrancy, working to restore your system's own unique brilliance. Work is accomplished from a seat of discernment; not judgement. Changes in the breath mark postive shifts. In each instance, Grace is what is applied to restore vibrancy.

Why practice distance work?
Distance work allows me to remain an observer. Common issues of the physical plane, such as socio-economic status and/or appearance, do not apply on the esoteric plane--thereby, afffording me a clearer view of what is happening energetically.

What can be accomplished through pranic distance work?
The tone and focus of a session are set by a desire on the client's part to affect a change. I have found the following sequence accomplishes the greatest amount of work in the shortest period of time.

The intial session invovles the review and repair of your system's major and minor energetic centers, where you process your life experiences.

The life-purpose session involves the alignment and repair of your life-purpose line, allowing you to find renewed meaning in your current line of work or transition into something else.

The relationship-connections session is advanced work. This allows you to review relationships with greater clarity, compassion and forgiveness. It may allow you to move-on or mend a tenuous or troubled relationship. Most clients report a "softening" in the existing relationship. There is a maximum of four relationships I can work with at a given time, three is preferable. These sessions are available only after an initial session has been completed.

Is there required preparation?
Please abstain from the use of recreational drugs and the consumption of alcohol for 48 hours surrounding an appointment. At the time of the session, please remove metal jewelry or watches and ensure that you are four to six feet away from plug-in clocks and electronic appliances.

What is the appointment format?
Prior to the session's opening, place a pen and paper next to the telephone. After the session is concluded, I will contact you with information garnered from working.

During the appointed time, find a comfortable, reclining position in a quiet place, where you may remain undisturbed for at least 75 minutes. While resting, observe your breath and focus your attention on the inside of your brow. Simultaneous to this, I will be sitting in meditation for you, utilizing your birth name as a means of connection. Following the appointment, it is important to observe a period of self-reflection.

Please note that I am only able to work in a person's field with their permission.

How do I maintain myself as a practitioner?
I am a certified energetic practitioner, continuing to study and attend seminars in a variety of traditions. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I practice devotional yoga and meditation, viewing with respect and humility the myriad of cultures and traditions, that produce so many sincere seekers.

What is unique about this practice?
In working, it is my sincere desire to be able to share with clients the opening that comes with an experience of Grace. Following a session, individuals already involved in a disciplined practice usually find their own practice affording them greater opportunities for growth and change. Experiences of Grace may become more accessible or more frequent. It is a joy to assist clients along their paths.

What is the recommended number of sessions?
Plan to begin with one session. Pranic distance work is extraordinary in its relative efficacy and efficiency. The greatest number of sessions in a series, which I have performed at a given time, is three.

Is there any medical or psychological consulting available?
I am not licensed to prescribe, advise or do health-care consulting. Clients who have chosen to work with me do so for personal, educational purposes alone.

How did I come to this work?
My formal education is in the humanities, with an advanced degree in fine arts. After my family and I became ill from exposure to an environmental pollutant--electrical pollution, we discovered that allopathic medicine could not help us. This necessitated our seeking alternative care. Work done by various energetic practitioners proved very efficacious. As a result of these experiences, I certified as an Energetic Practitioner in 2002.

What is the cost?
The cost is $65.00 US per session. Payment may be made by check or money order (requested of out-of-state clients) and mailed to Julian Lynn at P.O. Box 655, Flagstaff, AZ 86002.
